Nashville Becomes the 24th Team in MLS

A year and a half ago Nashville was awarded a USL team. Today, December 20, 2017, we became the 24th member of Major League Soccer.

At the beginning of this process, Nashville was a long shot. We were all more than happy to play in USL, but once we realized that MLS was a true possibility, nothing was going to stop us at that point.

Without people like Chris Jones, Marcus Whitney, and Ron Deal with us in the beginning, we wouldn’t be here today. Without the countless volunteer hours put in by everyone, we wouldn’t be here today.

Celebrate this, everyone. We probably won’t feel this way for a while until one of our teams lifts a trophy. Let it all sink in. We’re at the start of something special and it’s only up from here.

Glory, Music City.
